The powerful induced draft fan ensures the spray water fully covers the coil surface. Driven by the airflow, the heat transfer effect is significantly enhanced.
After absorbing heat, the temperature of the spray water and air rises, and some of the water evaporates, carrying away a large amount of heat through latent heat of vaporization. The drift eliminators capture the moist warm air, collecting water into the PVC heat exchange layer.
Water in the PVC heat exchange layer is cooled by the passing air, reducing its temperature before entering the cold water basin. It is then pumped by the circulating water pump back into the spray system for continuous circulation.
Water lost by evaporation into the air is replenished via a float-operated water level control valve.
Under partial load conditions, the heat exchange capacity of the evaporative condenser can be adjusted by controlling fan speed or the number of operating fans.
